Dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DP-IV) is a cell surface serine dipeptidase that is involved in the
regulation of the incretin hormones, glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent
insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). There is accumulating evidence that other members of the
