STUDY OBJECTIVE: Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a common infection and has been
associated with adverse health outcomes, including preterm birth, pelvic inflammatory
disease (PID), and acquisition of HIV. There are limited data on recurrent BV in adolescents.
